About SIHM

The State Institute of Hotel Management, Dimapur has been set up as a joint initiative between the Trade Promotion Council of India and the Department of Tourism, Nagaland under a Public-Private-Partnership (P-P-P) mode with an aim to advance skill development and provide career opportunities in the hospitality industry.

The institute is operated by Saksham Education Foundation, an educational trust established by Trade Promotion Council of India as part of its CSR objectives.

Vision

In our stride for success, our vision of a young State Institute of Hotel Management, Dimapur, is to be amongst the top hotel management institutes in the country and provide the students with outstanding skills in various verticals of the hotel & hospitality sector.

To, therefore, offer skilled and competent candidates to the hospitality industry.

Mission

Our mission is to extend service to the community by providing an opportunity to the students of Nagaland and other north-eastern states for professional advancement in the hospitality industry.

We would work closely with industry leaders, academic institutions, and government agencies to adapt and adopt our curriculum and training programs in accordance with the rapidly evolving industry of hospitality.

Our serious efforts would be towards providing a conducive environment for learning and personality development with our highly qualified and experienced faculty and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Indeed we would endeavour to facilitate the graduates from SIHM, Dimapur, in finding them suitable placements, both within the country and abroad.
